She's referring me to a general surgeon to have more surgery done, and also to an oncologist. They might have to take out a lymph node, too.
I've never had surgery in my life. Never spent a night in the hospital.
I don't know how to process this. I don't know what to think or how to act.
I just know I'm in uncharted territory here.
And I'm terrified.
